Parade chair Robbie Beres told the group he’s never met any group like Rotary, where members leave their family gatherings to rush to help when called upon, pounding number signs, directing lineup, organizing Fowler Park festivities, providing bike patrol and placing barricades for the Independence Day Parade. He expressed great gratitude for Rotarians’ selflessness in rallying to assist with enthusiasm and grace. “The parade planning was a really cool experience for me,” said Beres. “I’ve had the chance to work with people who love this community as much as they possible could. It was amazing.” Hey Robert, we were all lucky that you stepped up to take on the parade!
