THE SHAWN MANGAN FAMILY – Stephany, Callie, Kellan and Shawn

Shawn grew up in rural Kiel Wisconsin is a Kiel High School Grad of 2005. The father of a friend of Shawn’s growing up was Fire Fighter and that is how he was introduced to the profession. Inspired by this mentor, Shawn decided that he would like to make a difference in the community that way, someday.

Each time a call is received, Shawn says; “you just never what you are going to see or do, but you do know that you must ready and present in every way to support you fellow department members.” He finds it very interesting as well as the varied background of all the other who also serve with him.

It is amazing to him how much pride all the members take in what they do and how they serve. With 30 members who are not paid it is obvious how committed each of these people are.

We thank Shawn and all of the members serving in so many communities who are making a difference everyday in all kinds of ways.
