Sometimes, heroes have fur instead of capes. Rex, a therapy dog with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, has been doing regular window visits with the residents of Linden Grove in New Berlin.
Unable to go into the facility since the start of the COVID pandemic, Rex brings friends to greet the seniors from a distance. For this visit, he was accompanied by his little ‘sister’ Mojo (green wings), her sister Koa (purple wings), and his best friend Finley (red lab).
The residents waved, clapped, and laughed as the dogs played in the fountain and sat on chairs to look thru the glass. Rex is a Linden Grove window regular and also does video bedtime stories currently for Alice Baker Library until things go back to normal and he can visit in person.
Good boy, Rex & friends!
Special Thanks to Shel DeLisle and her amazing family for sharing Rex and Friends with so many. They are from Genesee, Wisconsin.
