Winston recently received therapy status. He is a good will ambassador for all Resues dogs and we plan on teaching people and kids that not all rescues are broken. Winston was in a high kill shelter in Louisiana and would have lost his life because he was heartworm positive.

In the south they break records with euthanizing animals. That is where my story starts with Winston we adopted him in Sarasota Florida over 2 years ago. Sarasota gets van loads of dogs and rescues them from high kill states.

Winston and Karen have been inseparable the last few years going through extensive training for obedience and receiving his CGC Canine good citizenship award and from there we worked and received therapy status. We are now working to get into Senior centers and get into therapy programs to help sick children and adults find the love and feel the kindness that these rescue dogs bring.
